Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 4 May 2026

1. Who we are

Voluzion (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a B2B lead generation platform that helps agencies and sales teams discover and contact local businesses. We are the sole data controller for all personal data processed through the platform.

For data protection queries, contact us at: privacy@voluzion.com

2. What data we process

We collect and process two categories of personal data:

A — Business contact records

Information about named individuals at businesses, collected from publicly accessible sources including business directories, Companies House, and company websites. This includes: full name, job title, business email address, phone number, and LinkedIn profile URL.

B — Platform user accounts

Account information for users of our platform: name, email address, job title, and activity logs within the platform.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) for processing business contact data. Our legitimate interest is enabling our customers — agencies and B2B service providers — to conduct lawful commercial outreach to businesses that may benefit from their services.

We have conducted a Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA) balancing our commercial interests against the rights of data subjects. Key factors:

  • All data is sourced from publicly available business listings
  • Processing relates to individuals in their professional capacity only
  • Data subjects have a clear right to object at any time
  • Retention is limited to 24 months by default

For platform user accounts, we rely on contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).

4. How long we keep your data

Business contact records are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of collection, unless they are actively being used in an ongoing customer engagement (in which case the contractual basis extends the retention period for the duration of that engagement).

Records are permanently deleted once the retention period expires, or sooner upon a valid erasure request.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Object — object to processing under legitimate interests (Article 21). We will honour all valid objections.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction — restrict processing while a dispute is resolved

To exercise any of these rights, use our data subject request form or email privacy@voluzion.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

6. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy. The version number and effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current revision.
